In accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges” and the Regulation on the Procedure of Qualification Exam and the Methodology for Evaluation of Candidates, the Commission has published the list of test question basics on the history of Ukrainian statehood, including references to the sources used for developing the test questions.
Please be informed that the provision introducing testing on the history of Ukrainian statehood as a stage of the qualification exam during the selection, appointment, and transfer of judges was established by the Law of Ukraine No. 3511-IX dated 09.12.2023, and entered into force on 30.12.2024.
This testing will be conducted for the first time for candidates as part of the selection process for the position of a judge in local courts.
The test questions were developed in accordance with the Exam Program and the Taxonomic Characteristics of the Anonymous Testing on the History of Ukrainian Statehood for Сonducting the Qualification Exam for Candidates for the Position of a Judge in Local Courts and for Judges, Who Have the Intention To Be Transferred to Another Local Court. During the test on the history of Ukrainian statehood, 40 questions will be randomly generated for each candidate.
Duration of testing – 40 minutes.
Evaluating the answer to one test question:
- Correct answer – 1 point;
- Incorrect answer, no answer, or multiple answers to a single question – 0 points.
Maximum possible score of the test on the history of Ukrainian statehood – 40 points.
The list includes 700 test questions.
