Please be informed, that on June 04, 2025, the Commission decided to schedule an exam on June 16, 2025, as part of a qualification evaluation in connection with imposition of a disciplinary sanction and a qualification evaluation for suitability for the position held for 16 judges of local and appellate courts, as well as one judge of the Civil Cassation Court of the Supreme Court.
Please note, that the exam will be conducted by the Commission in accordance with the rules that were in force prior to the entry into force of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges” and certain legislative acts of Ukraine on improving the procedures for judicial careers,” and in accordance with the Procedure for conducting the exam and the methodology for determining its results in the qualification evaluation procedure, approved by the Commission’s decision No. 144/zp-16 of November 04, 2016 (as amended by the Commission’s decision No. 20/zp-18 of February 13, 2018, with amendments).

Duration of the exam stages:
anonymous written test – 120 minutes;
practical assignment – 300 minutes.
Type and number of practical assignments:
for local court judges – 1 practical assignment of type 1;
for appellate court judges – 1 practical assignment of type 1;
for Supreme Court judges – 1 practical assignment of type 2.
The practical assignment will be performed using computer equipment.
The exam will be held at the Commission’s premises at the following address: 9, General Shapoval Street, Kyiv.
Registration for the exam will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on the day of the exam designated for the judge.
To register, you must have your Ukrainian citizen passport with you.
The exam will begin at 9:15 a.m.

Regarding the exam during the qualification evaluation for suitability for the position of judge
The minimum passing score for the exam is 50 percent of the maximum possible score if the judge scores 50 percent or more of the maximum possible score on an anonymous written test.
Regarding the exam during the qualification evaluation in connection with the imposition of disciplinary sanction
The minimum passing score for the exam is 55 percent of the maximum possible score set for this exam.
Please note, that if a judge fails to appear for the exam as part of the qualification evaluation for suitability for the requirements of the position held three or more times, regardless of the reasons, the Commission will consider him or her to have failed the exam.
